# Who are we?

EdgeAngel is a Data Marketing agency and consultancy, founded in 2018 by Olivier, Paul, and Mathieu (Institut Mines-Télécom and Institut Polytechnique de Paris alumni).

Today, we are above all a **collective of tight-knit experts**, united by a common culture: that of **technical excellence** and **business pragmatism**. We built a structure where Data and Tech are not ends in themselves, but **concrete levers** serving marketing and digital experience.

### Genesis & Privacy

Creation of the firm in a key context: the arrival of [GDPR](https://edgeangel.co/data-foundations/rgpd-compliance) and the beginnings of GA4. From the start, we integrated compliance and collection rigor as quality standards. 2021

### Scale

The firm changes scale. EdgeAngel is no longer just a Parisian player: opening of Bordeaux and Barcelona offices. Boosted by the post-COVID e-commerce acceleration, we industrialize the [Server-Side](https://edgeangel.co/data-foundations/gtm-sgtm) approach for our clients.

2023

### Data & Media Acceleration

Facing third-party cookie depreciation and the GA4 shift, we adapt our offers and become [Google Premier Partner](https://edgeangel.co/performance-acquisition/google-ads). We accelerate on Media (SEA / Social Ads) and deploy [advanced measurements](https://edgeangel.co/marketing-activation/advanced-media-measurement) (MMM, Causal Impact, ML) to compensate for signal loss alongside server-side, [consent mode](https://edgeangel.co/data-foundations/consent-mode), and 1st party data.

### AI & Data Foundations
